Frugal gamers and serious cheapskates like myself will be glad to know that Sony have slashed the price of the console by £50. The 120GB model is now less than £200 while the 320GB model will now only set you back by £249 which a pretty sweat deal if you ask me. And did I mention that the price-cuts are also for consoles sold in North America, Europe and Japan? Oh, and the discounts are available from today so feel free to rush out and buy a PS3 right now, just come back and read the rest of this post afterwards, yeah?
If you’ve always wanted to play a game that’s so difficult that it’s predecessor, Demon Souls, didn’t even have a pause button, you’ll be interested in Dark Souls, a game that has been unanimously titled as “the hardest game ever made” (stealing the crown from the aforementioned Demon Souls) by everyone who’s been insane enough to pick up a controller and play it. Here’s the gamescom trailer for the game.
Not really liking the sound of Dark Souls’ ridiculous difficulty setting? Perhaps Soulcalibur V will be more up your street in terms of combat that you can complete without your blood pressure rocketing through the ceiling.
