Since launch, The Sims 4 has gotten a sweltering amount of add-on content. Get to Work introduced new careers, Luxury Party Stuff helped your Sims throw a swanky bash, while the new Spa Day game pack introduces gyms, spas and saunas.
But EA apparently isn’t done yet. According to a leaked listing from online retailer Amazon, The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen could be the next bit of downloadable content added to the popular god-hand game. Find out more after the break.
The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen
The listing of The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen comes from Amazon’s Canadian site, Amazon.ca, and has since been deleted. As shown in our screenshot above, it appears that EA is planning on releasing a Sims 4 Cool Kitchen/Outdoor Retreat bundle – Outdoor Retreat is a previously released game pack that includes items that your Sims could use outside.
Unfortunately, despite fan hopes that Cool Kitchen will introduce fast food restaurants, for that price it’s much more likely that Cool Kitchen is a stuff pack that will include mostly decorative items with one or two gameplay additions on the side. As for what those gameplay extras are, some have stated that they’d like to see smoothie makers, dishwashers, and even deep fat fryers.
While we don’t know what it will include, there is a lot that suggests that The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen is indeed on the the way. According to rumours, later this month EA also plans to release a Sims 4 bundle that contains Spa Day, Luxury Party Stuff and Perfect Patio Stuff, so clearly bundles are on the publisher’s mind.
Plus, EA has confirmed that The Sims 4 will make an appurtenance at (European gaming event) gamescom next month, and Cool Kitchen is exactly the sort of announcement that could make a splash.
