One of the biggest draws to Rock Band 4 (besides its RPG-inspired career mode) is the fact that it lets players import their DLC from all of the other Rock Band games, so for some people that’s a back catalogue of over a thousand songs. But that’s apparently not enough as developer (and co-publisher) Harmonix has already restarted its weekly Rock Band DLC schedule.
Last week’s Rock Band 4 DLC offerings included a song from The Pretty Reckless, a track from Alabama Shakes and music from a few others. This week, however, it’s all about the legends of rock, Aerosmith, with a 6-track pack that’s now available to download. More info after the break.
Rock Band 4 Aerosmith DLC
Officially called ‘Aerosmith Hits Pack 02’, this track pack adds six new songs to Rock Band 4, each of which should be instantly familiar to Aerosmith fans and casual rock music listeners alike. The six songs are:
- “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”
- “Eat The Rich”
- “Love In An Elevator”
- “Seasons of Wither”
- “Rats In the Cellar”
Aerosmith Hits Pack 02 can be downloaded in its entirety for $9.99, or, each track can be purchased individually for $1.99. The track pack is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
As for other game updates, in addition to those weekly DLC offerings, Harmonix is also gearing up towards a Rock Band 4 patch that should be released at the end of the month. A company blog post says that the patch will add 5.1 crowd audio support and it will also include a range of bug fixes such as the lefty-flip cymbal issue with Guitar Hero drums, and the font issues with certain symbols in lyrics. There’s no word on the file size of the update yet, but we expect to have that information (along with a more detailed list of bug fixes) closer to the patch’s release.
