Epic Games’ Paragon is the latest game on the scene looking to get a slice of the lucrative MOBA pie. So far, Paragon, which is currently in early access on PC and PS4, has received high praise from players for its engaging third-person gameplay as well as Epic Games’ commitment to adding a new character every three weeks.
Epic Games has now announced that female character ‘The Fey’ will be the next hero added as part of this promise. A plant-wielding support caster, the developer has shown off her abilities in a brand new gameplay video. Watch the video and find out more after the break.

Paragon Female Character – The Fey
The Fey, who has already been called a ‘gritty version of Tinkerbell’ by fans, “uses nature’s power in Agora to specialize in crowd control and harasses you in lane. The new Paragon addition uses her Untamed Growth ability to throw an explosive plant that deals area of attack damage over time, while her Bramble Patch ability slows any enemy heroes that walk into it.
The Fey’s ultimate, meanwhile, is Fly Trap; a humongous plant that pulls in enemy heroes and applies “serious damage” according to Epic Games. Also in the character’s toolset is Harvest Nettles which refunds mana on successful hits and should ensure that she has enough juice in the tank to pull off the aforementioned abilities.
@xxTANKGIRLxx We have many more female Heroes planned. Stay tuned!

Also worth noting is that after The Fey becomes available in Paragon on Tuesday, August 2 (all characters in the game are free), players can expect even more female characters to be added to the game in future.
Responding to a fan who thanked Epic for the character and asked for more female heroes, the official Paragon Twitter confirmed that the team has “many more female Heroes planned.”
