Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker will be released on Xbox One on March 10. The over the top dating sim, which has been praised for its campiness and for its inclusion of same-sex couples, will arrive on the console following an unforeseen delay.
Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker was announced for consoles in January, following a successful launch on Windows PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices in 2014.
Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker Xbox One Release Date

Ms. Kitty Powers, the drag queen at the heart of the Magic Notion-developed dating sim, confirmed the game’s impending arrival on Xbox One via Twitter. Powers confirmed that Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker will be released on Xbox One on March 10 (this Friday).
The sometimes rude but always funny face of the game, which sees players run and up and coming dating agency, also apologised for the game’s delay on Xbox One. While Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker was released on PS4 last month to fairly positive reviews, the Xbox One version was delayed due to a “technical issue,” explained Magic Notion. Magic Notion had hoped that the game would still be out by Valentine’s Day, though this clearly did not happen.
A slight delay aside, many Xbox One players will be glad to finally get their hands on the game. In addition to its slightly silly (and a bit lewd) mini-games, which we praised in our Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker review, Magic Notion has also updated the game’s avatar system and introduced “dynamic dialogue” to celebrate the console release.
Following the release on Xbox One, Magic Notion will likely turn its full attention to its other in-development game, Kitty Powers’ Love Life. Little has been shown off so far but the new game will let players run a town of happy couples. Fingers crossed that it will be just as inclusive and fun as Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker before it.
