All Walls Must Fall gets a massive discount to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall. The game, which is developed by Inbetween Games, is a tech-noir thriller based in Berlin, Germany. It imagines a time where the Cold War never ended.
Speaking to us previously, Inbetween Games suggested that its indie game is too gay for mainstream publishers.
All Walls Must Fall Marries XCOM Strategy and Futuristic Flirting
On November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall fell as the Cold War was beginning to end and political tensions shifted. To celebrate the anniversary, Inbetween Games has temporarily cut the price of All Walls Must Fall. Up until November 13, you can get the game for 50% off.
Here’s the official description of the game:
“All Walls Must Fall is a tech-noir tactics game set in Berlin 2089 where the Cold War never ended. A game in the isometric action tactics genre, you command secret agents using time travel, social stealth and combat. Prevent nuclear annihilation. Bring down the Wall. Love, kill, and remix reality to explore the meaning of freedom in a parable reflecting upon current global issues in the mirror of a fantastic future past.”
As the new gameplay trailer touches on briefly and as we’ve covered in the past, All Walls Must Fall is pretty gay. Although you wouldn’t expect it from a game that looks so dark and gritty, Inbetween Games has also taken inspiration from Berlin’s gay nightclubs. Male protagonist Kai can flirt with NPCs to get ahead in the game, so to speak.
If that sounds like your bag, then it would make sense to get the game now before the discount is up. All Walls Must Fall is currently in early access but Inbetween Games plans to add lots more in the coming weeks and months. Most recently it added more RPG elements and the developer says that fans can expect it to grow “exponentially” in the run-up to launch.
