The Sims 4 players on console are about to gain access to two major bits of DLC originally released for the PC version of the game. EA confirms that the DLC will be available for The Sims 4 PS4 and Xbox One next month.
The Sims 4 on consoles already includes a lot of content from the PC version of the game, including cheat support and transgender characters.
The Sims 4 Stuff Packs Coming to Consoles
EA has announced that two stuff packs from The Sims 4 will be available on PS4 and Xbox One next month. The Sims 4 PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to get the Luxury Party Stuff and Cool Kitchen Stuff packs from December 5.
Luxury Party Stuff lets players host a swanky bash and includes items of clothing such as fancy dresses, tuxedos, and blazers. There are also items that offer new gameplay, such as the buffet table and the Fountain of Mirth.
The Cool Kitchen Stuff pack, meanwhile, lets players deck out their kitchen in style. It includes things such as an ice cream maker that allows Sims to make 30 different flavors, some of which include different properties and effects for Sims.
Cool Kitchen Stuff and Luxury Party Stuff are just the latest DLC packs to be available for The Sims 4 PS4 and Xbox One players. The deluxe version of the game included three DLC packs at launch, such as the Awesome Animal Hats DLC. Fans could also pre-order the console versions to gain access to the Perfect Patio Stuff pack.
These new DLC packs are part of an overall strategy and plan to make all of the DLC from the PC versions available in the console versions of the game. But it should be noted that Luxury Party Stuff and Cool Kitchen Stuff were the first DLC packs to be released for The Sims 4. If EA is releasing the DLC in chronological order then console players could be in for a long wait until more recent expansion packs such as The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs is released on their platform.
