Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 3 Release Date + Trailer Revealed
Square Enix and Deck Nine Games have announced that Life is Strange: Before the Storm episode three (“Hell is Empty”) will be released on December 20. Players on Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be able to play the series finale.
The conclusion promises to be both dramatic and dangerous for Chloe Price – this is all highlighted in the spoilerific trailer above. If you’d like to know what episode three will involve (minus the spoilers), then the official description of it is as follows:
“Chloe struggles to keep grasp of the events unraveling in front of her as we hurtle towards a dramatic conclusion and the consequences of your all your actions so far. As her friendship with Rachel Amber reaches new heights of emotion, Chloe uncovers a dangerous revelation that will require her to find the courage and strength to make some of the toughest decisions of her life…”
Players of Life is Strange: Before The Storm will be sad to see this one end. Not only has the game been praised for being a raw and emotional portrayal of teenage life and the dramas that go with it, but many have appreciated the opportunity to see Chloe and Rachel’s relationship (platonic or romantic, depending on the decisions you make) play out.
Though it should be noted that this isn’t the end of Life is Strange, not by a long shot. Deck Nine Games is also working on a “bonus” episode called “Farewell” which focuses on Chloe and (Life is Strange season one protagonist) Max and will be released in early 2018.
DONTNOD Entertainment, the developer behind Life is Strange season one is also working on some sort of Life is Strange game, but it’s currently unclear whether it will focus on these same characters. Moreover, a Life is Strange live-action series is in the works.
Those who are fond of Life is Strange‘s heart-wrenching narratives and love making huge decisions and choices have a lot to look forward to. Even after Life is Strange: Before The Storm has concluded.
