The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff pack is officially announced with a brand new trailer. The forthcoming DLC pack will introduce several gameplay features that have been designed with feedback and input from The Sims 4 fans.
The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff Release Date and Price
The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff pack has a release date of January 16, 2018 on Windows PC and Mac. The new downloadable content will cost $9.99, which is the standard price for The Sims 4 Stuff packs. It’s unclear when PS4 and Xbox One players might gain access to the Stuff pack as the console versions have already gotten some new DLC this week.
This latest DLC for the game will focus on laundry and includes items such as new washing and drying machines, an outdoor washtub (so that Sims can scrub their clothes clean), as well as a clothesline to hang their clothing on once they’re done.
The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff also introduces several bits of clothing and decor that have a more ‘country’ or ‘rustic’ vibe. Some examples of what to expect include wicker furniture, wood tables, and rugs, as well as denim clothes and clothes with floral patterns.
As is customary for The Sims 4 Stuff packs, this DLC doesn’t add a great deal of new content. But the biggest difference here – and perhaps one of the biggest selling points – is that the development team created it with the help of players.
Players took part in six surveys over six months to help shape the gameplay and even the name of the Stuff pack itself. Sims 4 players have expressed frustration at EA’s plans for the series recently but this seems to suggest that the team is making an effort to directly address what fans actually want.
