Gay-friendly relationship sim Kitty Powers’ Love Life gets a release date. The upcoming game, which allows players to create and manage their own neighborhoods, also gets two new trailers to celebrate.
Developer Magic Notion previously released Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker, the dating sim that saw players run a dating agency and helped to set clients up with the love of their lives.
Kitty Powers’ Love Life Gameplay is Suitably Tongue in Cheek
Magic Notion has confirmed that Kitty Powers’ Love Life will be released on February 8. The game will be available on PC (via Steam), iOS, Android, and Kindle (via the Amazon App Store). Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker did release on consoles, but it’s currently unclear whether Love Life could be released on consoles too.
Kitty Powers’ Love Life is being pitched as an inclusive town-building/matchmaking hybrid. The game will see players create and manage their very own ‘Love Villages’ where they’ll build houses and locations such as libraries, shopping malls, and nightclubs, and will keep an eye on the couples that move in.
The goal is to help fix the couples’ relationships by holding counseling sessions and getting involved in their arguments. Successfully sort out the couples’ love lives and you’ll be able to increase your reputation to get wealthier clients to move into the area and you’ll get to spend your funds on unlocking new tools as well.
As to be expected from the developer that created Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker, Kitty Powers’ Love Life is inclusive and it’s full of rude humor too. The couples in the game are procedurally generated and there will be same-sex couples and characters of color, the trailer confirms. The trailer has quite a few double entendres as well (you’ll help couples have a “happy ending”) so those who prefer their jokes a little more SFW (safe for work) have been warned.
