Gay-friendly game Gaydorado is released on Android and iOS in the West. The game, which combines dress-up, combat, and romance gameplay features, has been described as a gay social RPG by developer and publisher CocoBear.
Gaydorado is one of several games hoping to appeal to and be inclusive of the LGBTQ community. Some other upcoming games with LGBTQ characters include Eldet and Kitty Powers’ Love Life.
Gaydorado: Three New In-Game Events Announced
CocoBear has now released its gay social RPG Gaydorado on iOS and Android in the West. The game is set in a city called Gaydorado and it allows players to design their own hunk, letting them dress him up in various costumes (some of these can be seen in screenshots here).
Your character can also get buff in the Gym before taking part in PvP (player versus combat), and embark on romance storylines with various male NPCs. There are multiple story chapters to unlock, promises CocoBear.
To celebrate the game’s Western release, CocoBear has also revealed a romantic live-action trailer that gives players an idea of what those romance storylines will entail. Gaydorado players will be able to have a happily ever after with the virtual man of their dreams. According to the trailer, this way well include a public proposal that actually seems rather sweet (even if it is a bit corny).
CocoBear has also announced several upcoming in-game events. These include the Valentine’s Day event on February 14 and Australia’s Gay Carnival [Sydney] event which takes place between February 16 to March 4. The event is being hosted to celebrate same-sex marriage being legalized in the country 15% of income from event outfit purchases will be donated to Midsumma Festival, Australia’s annual LGBTQ culture and arts festival.
According to the game’s Google Play reviews, there are quite a few fans who will be hoping that CocoBear can also find time to address server issues, alongside the release of these in-game events. Quite a few players are complaining that they have been unable to log-in and that their messages to other players aren’t going through.
So far there are only a handful of body type options for your character too (including muscular average white, Black, and Asian characters) and it would be nice to see those options expanded too. It is early days though so hopefully CocoBear will push these updates out to Gaydorado‘s Western players soon.
