Fans have been waiting for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for almost an entire decade. A prequel to 2008’s Mirror’s Edge, Catalyst is set to tell us the backstory of free runner Faith, revealing how she became the character that we know today. Plus, with technology having advanced, Catalyst’s dystopian setting is set to look fantastic on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Unfortunately, despite the game already having been delayed from February to May, it seems that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is being delayed again. Erik Odeldahl, the game’s design director, made the disappointing announcement today on the Mirror’s Edge website. Find out more about why the game has been pushed back (as well as its new release date) after the break.
