When Stardew Valley, the country living RPG from ConcernedApe (Eric Barone) and Chucklefish, launched in February, it quickly became one of the most popular new games available. Drawing comparisons to the Animal Crossing series, Stardew Valley also allows players to live out their dreams of becoming a ‘master farmer’, being able to restore an idyllic village back to its former glory and they can also get married and fight monsters.
In fact, Stardew Valley has been such a huge seller that as it currently stands, the game has now sold over 830,000 copies. But what plans does Barone have for the game’s future content and could we see Stardew Valley released on consoles? In a new interview, Barone answers that and more.
