When your city is famed for its torrential downpours, with rain so heavy that Mary Poppins wouldn’t touch it with a gazebo on a stick, what do you do? If Sucker Punch are anything to go by then you’ll apparently take that in stride and recreate it in gorgeous 1080p HD and 30 FPS, as discussed in this inFamous: Second Son dev diary. Bragging rights, schmagging rights. What’s a few E3 awards and some incredibly positive quotes from the media if your game isn’t blazing hot like a volcanic eruption on Mars, nor is it as pretty as a wall of neon lights in the middle of a blackout? What’s that you say? Protagonist Delsin Rowe’s neon absorbing and flame/smoke throwing powers means that PS4 exclusive, inFamous: Second Son, is literally both of those things? Well that means that Sony and Sucker Punch have plenty of reasons to brag in the inFamous: Second Son accolades trailer, which you can see after the break.

In a reveal that’s about as well concealed as an elephant hiding behind a curtain, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was announced for next-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, this weekend at the Spike VGX Awards 2013. FIFA 14 on next-gen is not what you expect. It’s not what you thought of in your wildest dreams and it’s not even encompassing what you wanted improved upon from EA’s previous attempt at perfecting the footie genre. You can watch the new trailer discussing it all after the break.

It almost doesn’t need an introduction but in any case, the PS4 launch trailer is after the jump.
The science books were wrong. ‘Shadows are created by light hitting impenetrable objects’ they said and you believed it. But in the grander scale of things, Albert Einstein was taking on your science professor head-on, stating that worlds and living beings may exist outside of our own. That’s the theory that quirky title Contrast challenges in a new launch trailer suggesting that in our world, the shadows are very much alive and have more than enough reasons to be afraid of the dark.
