Adventure Time Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know is a spin off of Pendleton Ward’s popular Cartoon Network series, Adventure Time. But is the dungeon crawling caper as fun and entertaining as the Emmy-nominated show that it’s based on? We’ve reviewed the game on PS3 so that you can find out.
Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know is the dungeon traversing, crazy capering video game spin-off of Cartoon Network’s popular and equally as eccentric television show and now, after a whole lot of waiting, the Adventure Time: ETDBIDK release date has finally been announced.
While Adventure Time, the brightly coloured and slightly eccentric television show on Cartoon Network has simple enough episode titles (though perhaps season one’s The Enchiridion is a notable exception) the upcoming video game differs quite a bit. It’s different, in one way, in that Adventure Time Explore The Dungeon Because I Don’t Know is as much of a mouthful as all of the sugary foodstuffs in The Land of Ooo, where an entire town of characters is made out of candy.
What’s being preserved in Adventure Time Explore The Dungeon Because I Don’t Know (try saying that ten times fast), is the very spirit of the show. As crazy are the show’s cast of characters (the two leads are Finn the Human, a heroic teenager who is possibly the last of his kind and Jake the Dog, a transforming, talking canine) the less bizarre elements are being taken to make a solid, interesting game. As explained in a new trailer, which you can watch below, the series’ creator, Pendleton Ward, will be working on the game and its story alongside developer WayForward making it the most mathematical (Adventure Time’s synonym for ‘generally amazing and a lot of fun’) cartoon title yet.
