What’s better than one Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer? Two Assassin’s Creed 3 trailers of course!
Developer and publisher of the franchise, Ubisoft, really know how to to warm our hearts, offering up two instances of HD freedom sequences to give us an added ‘kick’ to your 4th of July highs.
If anyone tells you that you can have enough Assassin’s Creed 3, tell them that they are wrong and then show them these two ace videos which celebrate the hard work and brutal firefights that had to take place in order for the recent American holiday to take place.
Happy (belated) Independence Day everyone.

However lazy of me it would be, I almost just want to post the video and let you chew over this new footage of AC3 – Assassin’s Creed 3 looks, sounds and, if we’re living vicariously through Rahtonk~ okay, Connor’s virtual spirit, it feels amazing too.
Everything you expect to be in the video of the Assassin’s Creed 3 E3 gameplay demo is there but I must have had to watch it back several times simply because it exceeds what I thought Assassin’s Creed 3 would be capable of.
I’m going to liken it to reading a book and having your visions of its scenes performed exactly how you imagined them in the movie adaptation, or – watching the Assassin’s Creed 3 E3 gameplay demo is like having your video game dreams realised.

Do you know what was nice? The Assassin’s Creed 3 teaser trailer. But do you know what would be nicer? What would be the lovely blood red cheery on an undoubtedly death-rich cake? Footage of Assassin’s Creed 3 gameplay.
Yesterday we were busy comparing Dishonored to Assassin’s Creed and today we see exactly how starkly different the two games are as Ubisoft have just released a trailer including our very first taste of Assassin’s Creed 3 gameplay, taken from a pre-alpha state of the game.
You won’t believe that it’s pre-alpha though. AC3 just looks that good. Few things have looked this incredible before release since the frozen pizza was invented. You can see this bit of extraordinary gameplay after the break.

DISCLAIMER : The author is looking forward to both Assassin’s Creed 3 and Dishonored, both of them stand the chance of being incredible. This post just takes a look a how Dishonored will best certain aspects of what we’ve seen AC do before and is not meant to hate on either upcoming titles.
One is a slice of globe-trotting, stab and stealth action where freedom and a fight against the power-hungry Templars take the lead, whilst the other is based around a dystopian Industrial-era society that has you using supernatural powers as you battle for your innocence against the corrupted leader(s) who framed you for a crime you didn’t commit.
Although they include a much different range of methods to get to their end-goal of putting the warped members of the aristocracy in their places, both are centred around the idea that they must kill for what is right.
These games? Dishonored and Assassin’s Creed.
As the two assassin genre supertitles go head to head later this year (the latter in the form of Assassin’s Creed 3), it’s inevitable that comparisons between them are going to be drawn. But how deep do the similarities go? That’s what we’re here to find out.
