Last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity was a giant stinker of a game as it was plagued with bugs and the business with its female characters (rather, it’s lack thereof) wasn’t pleasant either. If Ubisoft wanted to win us all over then a bit of brilliance was in order; but they may just deliver that in Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.
The game features female assassin Shao Jun as the last member of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins as she returns to China, seeking revenge. It’s a massive departure from the map-following, chest-looting formula that we’ve come to know and love (or hate?) from the Assassin’s Creed series but it could breathe new life into the franchise. More on Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China after the break.
