Batman: Arkham Knight hasn’t been in the best of shape since it launched back in June. It ran smooth like butter on PS4 and Xbox One but on PC, the game was absolutely horrendous with framerate problems and stuttering preventing making it difficult to play. So bad were the problems, that publisher Warner Bros. Interactive removed the game from sale.
Since the proverbial hit the fan (and Warner’s revenue took a hit from all of the refunds PC players requested) Warner has been working with the console version’s developer, Rocksteady Studios, and NVIDIA to get the game back on track. They’ve already released one patch which didn’t solve the problems entirely but this new patch, that’s out now, seems to have done the trick. More info after the break.
