Released back in January 2015, Daybreak Games’ open-world zombie MMO H1Z1 has had one incredibly busy year. While there were some definite lows (Sony sold Daybreak Games, and its president, John Smedley, left the company) but there were highs too as the game has managed to sell over 2 million copies (per SteamSpy) despite it still being in Steam Early Access.
Fans of the zombie slaying title can expect 2016 to be just as busy for H1Z1. Today, Daybreak Games announced that H1Z1 would soon be splitting into two games and that the multiplayer arena spin-off, H1Z1: King of the Kill, will be released this summer on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Find out more after the break.
