As a new year of gaming begins, EA are starting the year off right helping us all decide upon the very first game on our 2013 gaming wishlists as they’re all ready to release the demo for Dead Space 3.
The full game of Dead Space 3 is set to let players take control of the bad-luck plagued space engineer Isaac Clarke and experience his willingness to constantly get himself into danger in places entirely overrun with necromorphs, as players will get to see an entirely new world, the “unforgiving ice planet”, Tau Volantis.
When the Dead Space 3 demo launches later this month (Dead Space 3 demo release date – 15th of January on Xbox 360, 22nd of January on PS3) you can take on Tau Volantis with a friend as the controversial inclusion of co-op takes form with secondary Dead Space 3 character, Sergeant John Carver, making his video game debut.
Those in doubt about the new co-op feature in Dead Space 3 (or the game as a whole) needn’t worry as EA say that their game will include “the franchise’s core elements of suspense, horror, action and sound”, which is exactly what made us love the previous Dead Space games.
As an added bonus for Xbox 360 players, EA say that you can go to demo.deadspace.com to win a chance to get to play the demo even earlier than the 15th of January.
Dead Space 3 is out on Xbox 360 on February 3rd and PS3 on February 5th (North American release dates).
