One of the most talked about topics in the gaming industry right now is diversity as developers ask themselves how they can make their teams less homogeneous. Recently Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey has said that ‘more inclusive development’ is better for everybody, while EA exec. Peter Moore has said that diversity is at the core of what EA believes.
Joining the call for more diversity in the industry is Pauline Jacquey, the managing director of Ubisoft Reflections, which created Grow Home and also helped out with The Division. In a new interview, the studio boss admits that the industry isn’t doing enough to encourage diversity, also suggesting some ways on how companies can fix it.
