Maybe it’s because I’m British. Maybe it’s because I’m a huge fan of the FIFA games. Maybe it’s because I can appreciate the realism that EA’s football sim offers, allowing me to win championships, become captain of my national team and take on the world’s best players ; all from the comfort of my own sofa as I inhale a less-than healthy pizza.
It’s probably an amalgamation of all of those reasons that makes me so giddy for the FIFA 12 UEFA EURO 2012 DLC, the downloadable content that allows FIFA 12 players to build squads from scratch to take on 53 of Europe’s best football teams, travelling the globe, trading players and forming legacies as you go.
EA have really pulled out all of the stops for the UEFA EURO 2012 DLC so if you’re going to make any effort to take over the world, one goal at a time, this is the best place to start.

After months of waiting, ogling screenshots and watching glorious trailers for FIFA Street, EA’s tricky football sim is finally out (the EU FIFA Street release date is today, North America release date was the 13th).
With that in mind, I’ve composed a list of the cheapest copies of the game, from various vendors if you’re choosy/only like buying from the big brand places.
If you’ve found a cheaper option, please do leave a comment including it!
Those are the cheapest big and off brand deals I could find for the UK and North America, if you’ve found a better deal/another international deal, please do comment and let us know!
Win the ball, pass the ball, kick the ball, SCORE! That’s how it goes in all of the FIFA games, the way it works on Sony’s handheld, PS Vita, is no different. All of the game play that you expect to be in the game is there, if the game’s first trailer is anything to go by. What may throw you off guard are the added touch capabilities ‘touch the screen to shoot you say? MADNESS!’ and the fact that you will be walking around with HD graphics in your back pocket. But we shouldn’t fear its quality, we should embrace it with open arms, even if that does mean being subject to Wayne Rooney’s “attractive” mug in high definition.
