With the first Mirror’s Edge being a cult gaming classic, fans are rabidly excited for its prequel, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. The Gamescom gameplay trailer for the upcoming game showed a much more fluid free-running system, combat that you can chain effortlessly and gorgeous visuals of a futuristic dystopian world and with publisher EA having set the release date as February 23, 2016 fans didn’t have long to wait either.
Unfortunately, that February 23 launch was too optimistic, as EA and the game’s developer DICE having now announced a Mirror’s Edge Catalyst delay. Instead, the game will be released a few moths later, in May 2016. More details on the delay can be found after the break.
