Last week, E3 2015 took place in Los Angeles, California. All of the big three platformer holders – Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft – were in attendance, showcasing games and features that will be available in the next few months. Sony and Microsoft knocked it out of the park, with Horizon and backwards compatibility (respectively), but Nintendo’s conference was underwhelming, being criticised for the new Animal Crossing Wii U board game and for Metroid Prime: Federation Force which now has a petition going against it.
However, one of the only things that fans unanimously enjoyed about their conference was the new trailer for upcoming 3DS game, Fire Emblem Fates. The tactical RPG stars a character torn between two warring factions, as players fight for (or against) the Hoshido or Nohr army. The game was set to be a huge draw as it is, but now, Nintendo has revealed that Fire Emblem Fates will include same-sex marriage.
