‘EA are the most gay friendly place to work in all of the games industry’, a bold statement? Absolutely. Is it one that can be backed up with real, actual, verifiable statistics? Again, yes. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), who like to keep tabs on companies doing good, non-discriminatory things to their employees and treating them like plain old human beings, no matter how they identify, have rated EA a 100 out of 100 for equality in the workplace. But what does the publisher’s gay friendly status mean for their games?
In a reveal that’s about as well concealed as an elephant hiding behind a curtain, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was announced for next-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, this weekend at the Spike VGX Awards 2013. We saw this one coming a mile off, mostly down to the fact that Amazon Italy leaked it a few weeks ago but now, letting their inconspicuous cat out of the bag, Square Enix have released a Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition trailer and announced the release date.
Living the life of an NBA baller isn’t all fun and games y’know. Sound like a great deal of effort? Well then it’s a good job that in the virtual world it’s nothing like that! Watch the new NBA 2K14 MyCareer trailer after the break to find out more.

Sony are showing this off once again with a new drop of screens, which you can see after the break.
There’s something rather special about platforming games. FIFA 14 on next-gen is not what you expect. It’s not what you thought of in your wildest dreams and it’s not even encompassing what you wanted improved upon from EA’s previous attempt at perfecting the footie genre. Year on year we get incremental updates to the game; updated kits, more beautified blades of grass and that sort of thing but now, on next-gen it looks like EA Sports have finally accomplished something substantial. You can watch the new trailer discussing it all after the break.

Good, we’re glad you haven’t because that would be unfortunate and you might have missed the North American launch of the PS4! Large chunk of sediment in your way or not, you’re here just in time for Sony to roll out their new console like a games machine with really big, mass marketed wheely things. It almost doesn’t need an introduction but in any case, the PS4 launch trailer is after the jump.
