The Internet was a flutter yesterday when Capcom dropped the massive (if not slightly obvious) bombshell that Resident Evil 6 is in full development but not only that, they also revealed that it will be out in just a matter of months.
Tweets were tweeted, exclamations marks were posted in their thousands and keyboards were smashed furiously in excitement over the news and there’s a strong likelihood that you were one of the many millions of rabid undead enthusiasts who flocked to YouTube to watch the trailer.
However, only so much can be expressed in a 3 and-a-half minute video which is why I’ve put together a round-up of the need to know facts about the game (and yes I’ve included the trailer just in case you want to watch it again!)

Spending too much time on the Internet is what I do best, I hoover up links like a black hole of cyber-consumption. I can’t help it. I’m addicted to procrastination, so sue me.
One particular sort of story that I’ve seen cropping up more than usual on the interwebs over these past few days is that of the “rumoured” successor to the Xbox 360, the Xbox 720. I addressed one of these rumours with Friday’s post but since then, even more ‘legit info’ has flooded onto the Internet. Obviously none of these things have been confirmed and are what I like to call the “Internet’s sandwich” – one slice of flamebait, another slice of *mostly* fictitious industry ‘insight’ with a delicious mouth-watering filling of overactive fanboy imaginations.
True or not, these rumours are the closest thing you and I have got to the real deal, so to save you having to join me in my rumour-gobbling Internet hunt, I’ve compiled a list of all of the things worth knowing about the Xbox 720.
