With huge announcements and reveals such as the new Mirror’s Edge Catalyst gameplay trailer and the FIFA 16 Xbox One bundles, EA had a pretty huge Gamescom 2015. But their presentation was also filled with smaller showcases, such as the announcement of The Sims 4 Get Together expansion pack. In the trailer and the accompanying press release(s) EA explained that The Sims 4 Get Together would harness the social element of The Sims 4‘s gameplay, encouraging players and their Sims to make new friends, to hang out and have fun. And while features such as clubs and the DJ and dancing skills were also shown off during the presentation, the publisher had lots more to say about Get Together‘s world and its activities on Twitter and at a Gamescom preview session. Here are some highlights.
