How to Remove Instagram Live Comments

Instagram Live has become a popular feature for users to connect with their followers in real-time. However, sometimes unwanted comments can disrupt the live stream. 1. Open the Instagram app: Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device and log in to your account.

2. Start a live video: Tap on the camera icon at the top left corner of your screen or swipe right from your feed to access the live camera. Then tap on the “Live” option at the bottom of the screen.

3. View comments: Once your live session has started, you will see comments appearing on the screen. These comments can be both positive and negative.

4. Tap and hold the comment: To remove a comment, tap and hold on the comment you wish to delete. A menu will appear with various options.

5. Select the trash can icon: Among the options, you will find a trash can icon. Tap on it to delete the comment permanently.

6. Confirm deletion: A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap “Delete” to remove the comment from your live stream.

7. Restrict or block users: If you continuously receive unwanted comments from specific users, you can restrict or block them. To do this, tap on the user’s comment, select the “More Options” icon (three dots), and choose “Restrict” or “Block” accordingly.
